INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL OF SOLID STATE PHYSICS

Director of the School: G. BENEDEK

84th Course: K. Alex Müller Workshop on Complexity in Quantum Materials, 40 Years of High-Tc Erice Workshops

Director of the Course: A. BIANCONI,

Co-chair: A. BUSSMANN-HOLDER, H. KELLER

Erice - Sicily, August 3-9, 2023

The 2023 K. Alex Müller Workshop is dedicated to complexity in quantum matter. The workshop will be held in Erice where Alex was the scientific protagonist of the workshops of the international schools for 40 years, since the first time he attended the 1983 workshop. The aim of the Erice 2023 Workshop is dedicated to the field of complexity in quantum materials where Alex gave a major contribution opening the experimental search for quantum entanglement at high temperature in many-body-systems showing complex nanoscale quantum geometries. The workshop look for enforcing scientific friendly discussions between scientists at the Ettore Majorana Center in Erice where Alex enjoined workshops for about 40 years.
